Yup, that's me! Listening to my old
45's (no CD players back then!). All of my family, including my
three brothers, were born in Danville, Illinois. My grandma
had a farm that we loved to visit. My dad tells great
stories about growing up on a farm. He even
went to a one room schoolhouse! |

My family and I moved to Rochester,
NY when I was seven years old. That' s me in the first grade. We
brought everything with us including our faithful dog, Taffy. |

Today, my whole family helps out
with my writing. My wife, Sue, helps by reading my stories to me.
It’s always helpful to hear how a story sounds when someone else reads
it. My two children, Ryan and Mackenzie give me a lot of story
ideas. My dog, Gracie, doesn’t
help with my writing but she’s pretty cute! |
